Tommy had a lengthy, intrusive procedure yesterday. That is, if you call the vet's finger up his butt pulling out parts of the obstruction one piece at a time intrusive. He came home looking like death warmed over. He was lethargic and obviously in pain. He just wanted to hide, probably from the humiliation of the intrusive procedure.
Today he's feeling much better. He's been eating a bit. He laid in my lap and purred for a while. He even jumped up on the sofa when I was out. He's walking around a bit and using the cat scratcher to sharpen his claws, probably to be better prepared if someone decides to do another intrusive procedure on him. Hopefully, he'll be back to his old self in a few days.
Now if I could just get him to take his medicine without a struggle…
