And a sore butt, too.
I've been thinking I need to start riding my bike again. It's a nice, cool morning and I needed to go to the bank to get some cash. Sounds like the beginning of a brilliant idea.
I brought one of my bikes down from the storage room. I went out into the garage and cleaned it up. The tires needed air. The chain and gears needed a bit of lube. WARNING: A can of spray paint looks a lot like a can of spray lube. I mean A LOT like it. So when you set the spray lube down be very careful when you pick it back up. Oh, well.
Off to the bank. It's less than a mile away. I decided to take the more scenic route which made it a bit farther. There and back took a bit over twenty minutes.
Man, am I out of shape! My legs were sore almost immediately. A few minutes into the ride my butt started hurting. Next time I'll ride my recumbent instead. At least then my butt won't hurt.
Life is good.

LOL LOL That sounds like my sister-in-law tonight. I was at my brother’s and his wife got her bike out saying, “I should ride this.” My brother gave me a look. Well she set off to ride over to her daughter’s a couple blocks away. They (my sis-in-law, her daughter and grandson) came riding back a while later and she was so worn out.

Ok, Jim, I got the paint this afternoon after I left BG and I’ll be “back to work” on Thursday. See? BG really is on the way to Lowe’s…
