I just got done upgrading my blog software. I’m now running WordPress 2.0.1. The upgrade went fairly smoothly. Everything seems to be functioning normally. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that all continues functioning normally.

Hmmm… the only thing I see that may be a problem is page loading speed… seems to be very slow…

Of course, as soon as I said something, page speed seems to be normal again. Maybe it was just an overloaded server.

Then as soon as I said it speeded back up it slowed down again. Seems to be varying. Oh, well, I’ll worry about it later.

Like you hesitated to tke my 2.0 upgrade, I take my time on the 2.0.1 upgrade.
Still, I admire your guts.

2.0.1 fixed a couple of bugs I didn’t like in 2.0. The trouble with bug fixing updates is that they usually introduce different bugs. So far I’ve found only one of my plugins that won’t work properly. Luckily it’s totally non-essential.
I also took the opportunity to clean up a bunch of old cruft.
Time will tell if this was a good decision.
