Everybody’s favorite show at Busch Gardens, The Haunted Lighthouse 4-D, is being replaced. Ok, so it’s not really everybody’s favorite show, but some one must like it. The new show is called Pirates 4-D and will be opening February 17th. Terrific Tuesday participants will get a behind-the-scenes tour of the new show on February 28th.
Also in the works are several major changes in the Congo area of the park…
New habitats will be build for the orangs and tigers.
Most people don’t know that Busch Gardens also has some tomistomas and a new habitat will also be built for them. It’ll be nice to actually see these wonderful animals on display. Tomistomas are an endangered crocodilian species native to Indonesia and Malaysia. They commonly grow to lengths of 16 feet.
The Python rollercoaster will be dismantled since it’s outlived it’s useful purpose.
